Holiday
March 31, 2017
We perch at the start, anticipation and nervous tingles vibrate through every bone and burn through our veins.
day after day of tiresome chores. Days pass by like hours, hours like minutes. And suddenly an opening
We jump out, free falling.
Everything is free, boundaries don’t exist, rules are not applicable
The strings that were once tied around us are now cut
It’s holiday
It’s freedom
It’s time
We go our separate paths
Some go further than others
Traveling far and wild
No wires attached
The timer rings a melancholy sound
We return back as a changed humans
And start the cycle all over again.
