Lakers face off against Catholic Central


Your 8-2 West Bloomfield Lakers will be playing in the District Final for the third straight year, and their fourth in 5 years. They destroyed Plymouth last week with the final score being 49-14. The Lakers are facing their toughest challenge yet in elite Catholic Central.

They will be playing the Shamrocks of Detroit Catholic Central, who are coming off of a 49-28 beating of Canton. This will be their 16th District Final in School History, as they are coming off of a Semi-Final loss to eventual champion Clarkston.

The Lakers will need to bring their best game offensively and defensively. The Shamrocks have only scored less than 20 points 3 times this season, while they have only allowed more than 14 points 4 times.
