Q: What is your name?

A: “Alexander Woods.”

Q: How old are you?

A: “I am 16 going on 17”

Q: Have you always been going to West Bloomfield Schools?

A: “No actually I’m originally from Farmington Public schools. I was there for around 4 to 5 years and before that, I was in Macomb.”

Q: What is your favorite memory so far at WBHS?

A: “My favorite memory was when the football team won the state championship last year.”

Q: What is your least favorite memory at WBHS?

A: “Just starting out at West Bloomfield. I didn’t have a lot of friends. Not many people liked me back then.”

Q: What would you say to those people now who are just starting out at WBHS?

A: “Make sure you are taking school seriously just so in case you don’t do well the next year your previous year grades carry over. Explore and do not just limit yourself to certain clubs.

Q: What is your biggest regret so far in your life.

A: “I don’t have too many regrets but if I had to choose one it would be not taking sports so seriously when I was younger. I would have been more inclined to working out and taking care of my body so that now I would be better.”

Q: Who do you look up to and why?

A: “I look up to a lot of people. Mainly athletes, entrepreneurs, and politicians, but if I had to look up to one person it would be my dad because he works really hard and I don’t get to see him as much as I would like to. I do respect him a lot because of how much he sacrificed and how much he is willing to work just so I can go to school and have nice things and be able to do clubs and extracurricular things.”
