VIP Club leaves behind a legacy
May 30, 2014
VIP stands for very important person and at West Bloomfield High School, it is a club made up very important people– the volunteers of our community. Co-president, senior Jessica Davidov, has been in VIP for 3 years. She says that helping people was the reason she first joined.
You get to do can food drives, and help the community together as a school.”
This year, VIP organized a field trip to Gleaners’ food bank, making 2400 meals for hungry kids. They still plan on having a peanut butter and jelly drive this year. Davidov will miss being helpful at West Bloomfield. She promises to participate in college volunteer programs. “Staying connected with your community is remembering to always give back,” Davidov said.
The three seniors, co-presidents Taylor Brown and Jessica Davidov, and treasurer Sara Nirenberg, will be missed dearly next year.
