Writing Contest Now Open!
Attention all writers! Interested in writing for WB Spectrum? West Bloomfield High School’s Spectrum class is holding a writing competition for everyone at WBHS and the middle schools. Enter a work of short fiction for your chance to be published in Spectrum’s spring print edition. Requirements: The story must be school appropriate (PG-13) The story must be shorter than 500 words The story must be an original work of fiction The story must not reference any individuals who attend West Bloomfield School District Submit all stories in their finished form (we will edit grammar but we will not revise for you) One story may be submitted per person Submit your story via email to [email protected] via your school email along with your full name, grade, and 5th hour by March 15th 1st place winner will be published in the print edition and on www.wbspectrum.com and will receive a free copy of the magazine. 2nd place winner will be published on the website, receive a free copy of the spring print edition, and will receive honorable mention in the magazine. 3rd place winner will have their story published on the website and will receive honorable mention in the print edition.
